Now the long wait has ended. Hundreds of Users report that gmail switched on their IMAP access. Gmail offers help pages here. They even posted special configuration instructions for the iPhone.
gmail will make a slow feature rollout to all customers, so that they can make sure that the servers are not all access at the same time for the initially sync.

UPDATE: More and more users say that after they logged out from their account and logged back in, that then they got the option to activate IMAP.

BMW shows Vodafone iPhone on Motor Show
The rumors for the German carrier of the iPhone were all pointing to T-Mobile (Deutsche Telekom), but BMW shows pictures of an iPhone with Vodafone as the carrier on the IAA Motor Show in Frankfurt. So has BMW just Photoshopped an AT&T Image to show it inside the BMW or do they actually have an working iPhone with Vodafone? I guess we'll find out more in the next weeks. Next iPod in the new iMac Style? [pic]
Is Steve Jobs about to reveal the next Generation iPod on September 5th? All signs point in that direction.These are my thoughts about it.
Since apple just recently ordered a big amount of touchscreens they will most likely be touch iPods. Additionally the style of the iMac fits perfectly to the iPhone. The main difference will be that the normal orientation is landscape. The apple logo will work as the home button.
